I can't believe that in all this talk about Bond the only mention of bond girls has been Hallie Berry. I am disappointed in the XY contingent in Poly.

It's because there is much more easily available porn out now than during most of the Bond movies heydey .

        My favorites part

        Spoiler:
When he clipped the detonator to the second bomber, and that bomber blew himself up.

Also what drink did Bond order during the poker game?

That was a good part, but nothing tops the whole first chase scene - except, in a very different way, the shower scene. The shower scene was the place where I realized that there was some weird line of continuity between this Bond and Bogart's Rick Blaine in Casablanca.

As for the drink, which is in the book as well, it's

3 parts gin (Bond specifies Gordon's; I can't remember if that's in the book, too, or if it's more product placement)
          1 part Vodka
1/2 part Kina Lillet (a French aperitif similar to vermouth and, if my experience is in any way representative, very hard to find in the US).
          Lemon twist.

Glad to hear most of you who've seen it enjoyed it, since I will undoubtably go see it sometime soon. I like Bond, and my wife likes Bond even more. I wonder why?

grog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

Well, I guess that she has to dream about a real man to keep her sanity.

Jill St John is a criminally underated Bond girl.

Can anyone be arsed setting up a poll? Surely one of you student types must have nothing better to do?

hmm, I might actually see this one. I've been disappointed in most recent bond films.

Can someone describe the product placement?

List every product, how it is introduced in the movie, and at what exact time in the movie it happens please.

Sony Ericsson mobile phones, the entire range, every five minutes. Whoops, I've spoiled the plot.

Yeah, that did make the movie lame a fair bit.

Sony Ericsson mobiles are not even that great.

Do I get to see some naked guy taking a shower or not?
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
