Well, math types will say "It's true, because 1+1 = 2" which is correct for their way of thinking. For liberal arts types, the name of the item is as important as the contents of it; and "1+1" and "2" are named in a much different manners, and to them that's important.
To me I don't care ... I have no use for "1+1" thus it matters not to me what it is or isn't. See? This is new math. All opinions are allowed, it would intolerant to exclude different viewpoints out.
