  • I had all Heels exhibition game on my computer screen. The Heels won 140 - 101, where the opponent heated up from 3 in the last part of the game and made it look closer than it really was. Normally I wouldn't post this in a football thread, but this team is damn good! =)

Rankings are screwed. I didn't see any games this weekend again (yet), and I think I'm just going to vote Rutgers #3. I dunno yet.

        • BYU's loss to Arizona earlier in the season doesn't seem so bad now.

            • Yeh, big beatdown on TN. TN had lost by a combined 5 points before this game.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. It's not over yet. The second half will be even more important. Arkansas must keep a big lead to prove it can perform all four quarters, and earn lots of respect. The biggest problem most people have with Houston Nutt is that he's old fashioned and refuses to run up the score; therefore poll voters don't get too excited when they see for example 26-20 against South Carolina when in the third quarter it was 26-6.

I agree with Nutt's style and support him 100%, though. Few head coaches have the balls that he possesses.

                • Colt McCoy suffers a neck stinger and doesn't look like he'll be back. K-State and Texas tied at 14

                  • Rather, K State at 21!

I wouldn't expect a stinger to keep a guy out of the game, but you never know...

Well, you don't want to take chances with a neck injury.
