Why does it prove that? My god, only in the SEC can fans spin a loss at home to a lower-ranked opponent as proof that their conference is the toughest in the land, rather than merely proof that the home team was not as good as advertised...
Clemson lost. I can't believe that. The ACC blows. It's not even close.
Clemson lost at home to a team with two losses, just like Tennessee did. Why exactly is Tennessee's loss proof that the SEC is "the toughest conference in the land" while Clemson's loss is proof that the ACC "blows"? Do you even think about the idiocy of the conventional wisdom before you regurgitate it?
The UNC offense looked the best it has all year, though.
Offenses have a tendency to do that against Notre Dame this year...
