I remember losing consciousness after drinking hard, while seeing the room rotating. But I'm pretty much sure it was more like falling asleep and brain shutting off at the same time. Almost fainted once, years ago as a young lad, in church. Was in a choir practice, middle of the blazing summer, no A/C, while standing up I locked my knees. The director saw me going pale and got me to sit down. It had seemed like things, I mean, what I saw and felt, started getting heavy and dull.

Once when I chopped off a bit of my finger at work. I was fine until I got into the high-speed elevators (which often effected me anyway when my BP was low in the mornings).
