Men don't faint. But I have occasionally blacked out, usually due to a low blood sugar level. Never lost consciousnes, though.
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

Put me in the almost group. Standing in formation on the parade grounds in basic training.

Close. Got punched by the optics on a haubitzer when firing it. Took a couple of moments to get clear again.

Almost. Once as I hit the ground on my head, in sports class.
Another one when I really hadn't eaten enough, and was in a crowded area.

Yeah some years ago I would have those blackout if I jumpstarted from a resting position.
Say running to answer the phone while watching TV.
My eyes would go black and I would have trouble staying on my feet for a few seconds, then it would be ok.
Lasted for a year or so don't really know why.

I did once when I was kid. Had a case of hypoglycemia after chowing down on 4 donuts for breakfast. Diabetes runs in my family. So I got that going for me.

They annoy the heck out of me.

I was hit in the head with a golf club, a driver to be more exact, when I was 10. The next thing I knew was that I was on my knees staring at my blood covered hands (the blood had fallen on my hand). After I got stitches, the doctor that gave me stitches said I did better that most adults in the same position.

I'll almost fainted when I wake up, skip breakfeast and lunch when playing civ, then I don't eat until 3 to 4. I always manage to get something to eat minutes before I faint. The worst time was after playing Star Wars: Empire at War all day, By the time I got food, my vision had almost blacked out and it felt like my entire body was asleep.

I've never fainted, but I was close once: For some reason I just can't stand seeing other peoples blood, I've never had any problems seeing my own blood
This space is empty... or is it?
