I preferred tag over dodgeball. I was never a big dodgeball fan. Do people actually enjoy being smacked by a ball?

I saw this. We're doomed to becoming a nation of geeks.
I agree with Will.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

We're raising a generation of pansies. If children can't learn to tolerate the pain of 9 hours of straight studying and research, then how can we expect them to tolerate 12 hours of work as an adult?

I'm assuming they would really frown on when we would play guns and shoot at each other with pellet guns. The key was that we stayed at sufficient range not to do major damage and you had to shoot reasonably low not to get anyone in the eye. Guys that wore snow pants or heavy jackets were considered pansies. If we only had BB guns, the range could be shortened
THis type of game could never catch on in the cities as heavier weaponry could appearYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

i think waivers should be signed before one enters public education stating that the state/school is not to be held liable for injury that may occour. if you refuse to sign then your child will be disallowed from attending school without heavy fees"I hope I get to punch you in the face one day" - MRT144, Imran Siddiqui

And then we played kick ball until people got their feelings hurt for being picked last and the teacher picked random teams for us which made all of the games lop-sides

Monkey bar wars were awesome. I was the king of that playground game. We also played monkey bar basketball, which was just as much fun, 'cus it lowered the "goal/basket" and pretty much necessitated banging around for lay ups, what with the bouncy rubber dodgeball we used. Man I used to love them monkey bars.
This is insane. It was on ESPN and Foxnews. It was roundly critcized as a dumb move.
