Are you joking? Noticing that a demographic which makes up 1/3 of the population is switching in mass from one party to another is a HUGE deal.
you do realize that a universtiy isnt a vo-tech college, right? what you earn a degree in isnt a determined destiny for your career, right?
More often then not it is, at least in the sciences and applied sciences fields (like engineering). Why else would you bother to learn the stuff plus they're valuable skills and it would be hard to find a similiar paying vocation. The exception would be scientists/engineers who go to grad school to get something like an MBA.
I'm saying that someone ( the democrat ) who becomes so happy when their opponent ( the republican ) loses some of his support in a totally insignificant constituency ( the married mothers ) needs to do some introspection , because he is getting excited by trifles .
A very large slice of the population are married mothers. I wouldn't call that insignicant at all especially since the last few elections have been decided by few percentage points.
aneesham tell me about hindu origins before you tell me about how married moms arent significant.

Of course it's not insignificant. 51% of population are women, and maybe about 50% (I'm guessing) of those are married, which makes it a constituency of about 25% of the population.
