How can you possibly be making so little? I have the same degree as you (BA in history) and I'm looking at jobs that pay $12.50 - $18 an hour. I could be making more if I wasn't taking classes that prevent me from working a 9 to 5, Monday through Friday job...KH FOR OWNER!

I learnt to think and write, which is basically what I do for a living. I analyze stuff and write letters.
It's just that I'm so brilliant I can do the job without much effort.
You see, we History majors learn a valueable skill: we're excellent bull****ters. That is a skill that can be applied to many fields, instead of just one.
As to why MrFun is working for $7/hr, I've no idea. He's in Iowa, right? Does the economy really suck out there or something?
