I think Tigh's lost it. Having your eye ripped out by a toaster will do that I suppose.

Remember what Galactica Boomer told Adama about forgiving yourself before you could go forward. Tigh's mad at himself because he decided to settle down on New Caprica when he originally wanted to stay with Adama on Galactica (Adama sort of talked him into it).

Perhaps that's why he's being so cavalier about putting civilians at risk. They got soft and voted for Baltar, so now they deserve whatever they get. Tirol and Roslin, on the other hand, have been critical of his tactics. I agree with them. As an officer in the Colonial Fleet he's sworn to protect the people. He should be more careful.

Wow, was Starbuck in a frakked up situation, or what? Didn't like how that ended up, though.
      Spoiler:
Making a kid from the ovary they took from her? Evil! She better not fall for that toaster!

      And how about
      Spoiler:
Caprica 6 getting a third eye?

      And as far as
      Spoiler:
suicide bombers, send that slut collaborator Ellen Tigh out with some plastique accessories.

Boy, did Apollo really let himself go. I sort of think he's wrong about not going back. If there's only 2000 people left in the fleet, then there's not enough of a genetic pool. Don't you need around 10K? Unless they find humans elsewhere, it's just a matter of time before humanity is gone.

The only humans I saw die were the ones who are very clearly portrayed as collaborating with the genocidal, psychotic, evil robots who have the blood of billions on their hands and are routinely involved in human experimentation. In the factory there were passers by and security guards, while the guards would have armor, they were the ones rushing towards the bomber. and 6 cylons died for every one of them.

but what truly grieves me the most is that they blew two chances to have someone scream "death to the cylons". I have been waiting for that for 2 freaking seasons now

Did the previews show any scenes with Roslin in them that were clearly from future episodes?

What if one of the "skin jobs" is a traitor and opened fire on the firing sqiad? Alternatively what if the fring we heard was actually the other group of Cylons firing on Boomer's landing party? Wasn't Boomer's Raptor supposed to land in a canyon, but wasn't the execution also taking place in a canyon? Given the circumstances it wouldn't be unlikely that it was the same canyon.

Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

I was too tired to think strait. I had to have my wife drive the car. That's my excuse. Oh well, at least SciFi repeats.

There's also a slight possibility, that the magical cylon-baby blood, that cured Roslin's cancer, makes her bulletproof. Which reminds me, wonder what Doc Cotle (sp?) is doing?

And Leoben just doesn't give up. Usually, at the point where the woman kills her abusive counterpart, it pretty much means that it's not going to work for the two. And five times... Thic man.

It's intentional...there's a webcast on scifi.com showing Jamie Bambur getting into"fatsuit" prosthetics before the episodes, and when they made the current webcast he was commented how "I told those ****ers 'Hey! We're on episode 4 and I'm still fat! When am I gonna find the gym?' and they said 'You're still fat?'?

If you start shooting to the crowd, you will get some, not other, and this is specially true for folks in the back.
That assumes the Cylons are that incompetant that they wouldn't have a 'sign of life' scanner or just shoot everyone again individually while they were on the ground. Pretending you are dead in a mass shooting is the oldest trick in the book.

Well that kind of justifies the insurgents in Iraq blowing up Iraqi police forces as they are collaborating with the genocidal, psychotic, evil Americans (and if you don't think that they think that way you are deluding yourself).

And humans working in a factory are collaborating? I can see a better argument for a police force, but you have to make a living somehow. And the police guy's argument that it's better to have humans police humans than Cylons police humans may be a decent argument in theory, though not in practice.

It's still suicide bombs to kill whatever they can kill. Any humans in the area are just 'collateral damage'. And besides, the police force would have been safe if they had gotten the info that Baltar was staying away... so they didn't see them worthy of death by themselves, they were just collateral to Baltar's dying.

The way some religious wackos see us is immaterial. This show constructed a situation where it is clearly ok to suicide bomb(and no one was coerced into doing it with threats to their families, had their foot duct taped to the break pedal, etc). But that situation couldn't be less applicable to ours if they tried to make it that way.

"And humans working in a factory are collaborating?"

the NCP guards I saw were. there were a lot more then 4 people in that walkway when the bomb went off, I'd have to assume that at the worst there would have been 1 bystander, 2 or 3 guards and 24 cylons killed in that attack. pretty damned good for an indiscriminate act of terror in terms of not killing people not involved.

And THAT is highly provacative. To make suicide bombing seem OK in certain situations is a big step. And Tigh, of course, wanted to take it to the market.

Most real life suicide bombers aren't coerced into doing it.

Yeah, they were lucky in that sense, but they wouldn't have minded it if were a lot more. Remember, the ONLY reason she blew herself up there was because she had been found out by a guard and jumped the railing and right before she was tackled, hit the button.

It seemed like her primary target was the work floor with a bunch of factory workers around her. I'm sure they considered them to be collaborating.

instead she took down the power grid for 1/2 the city which would also be quite valuable.

as for most suicide bombers being coerced, I don't know, but I do know that it has happened.
