That otoh there's a number of radical islamists who would indeed kill is hardly news anymore, so the point of this thread isn't that much of a shocker.

While it may not have anything to do with the origins of Hindu civilization (though it probably does), I have a terrible feeling that the Pope may be assassinated.

So, we are giving these extreme opinions a great platform and an opportunity for it to spread, as we go 'oooh, those extremists, god damn them!'.

When we start hearing messages from people who matter, that's when I'd start saying well, maybe someone needs to disappear.

Funny that. How come there is currently a debate among Muslims (and with heavy disagreement, at that), on the stance the Muslims should take wrt the pope? Are the splitters less Muslim?

The ones that want to kill everyone are less Muslim.

I was thinking, if the pope goes to Turkey, and they try to kill him + crowds go ape****, then it would really ruin Turkey´s chances of joining the eu

I think we need to enroll the pope into krav maga lessons.

I have secured footage of the venerable Pope performing a shin kick:

Then let me wonder why philosophers such as Avicenne, al Farabi or Averroes have enjoyed great fame during their lifespan, and are being thought in Muslim high schools and universities?

You know as well as we do that old dusty tomes written by pastoral retards are just what they are, piles of crap. You can have them say whatever you want them to. What matters is the context in which the people traditionally attached to their content live in. Incidentally it appears to be a universal pattern of human affairs that societies facing a geopolitical decline and a sudden intrusion of foreign values will adopt conservative stances towards the new situation, i.e. religious backed rhetoric.

Maybe they could just offer Papal indulgances along the lines of kill 1 million muslims and go to heaven for free.

Of course. Both the most extreme muslims, and the islamophobes would be in complete agreement on that, and if such normally opposed folks agree, they must be right, no?

Just as those of us who want to see a Palestinian state in some form alongside Israel are not really Zionists, since Zionists are fanatics who want an empire from the Nile to the Euphrates or something like that. Both many muslims, and at least a handful of Zionists agree on that.

Similarly anyone who isnt for immediate US attacks on Iran, Syria, North Korea isnt really a neocon, since both the enemies of the neocons, and a few neocons would agree on that definition.

I could go on, but I dont think its really necessary, is it?
