Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I hope El Duque gets healthy and does pitch, though. I love that guy... the playoffs are his time. He's classic smoke & mirrors - meh "stuff" but balls of steel.
Just amazing to see them play in a playoff game. Yet at the same time, that wonder wears off pretty quick and now I'm watching every pitch with my breath held hoping and hoping. If/when we lose then I'll go back to being glad simply to be in the playoffs. Till then.... die Yankees!!!!
It was a good game. We put up a good fight. A few things could have gone our way and the game would have looked much different. Now lets see if we can wear out the Yankees bullpen.

Good game for the Yanks, but obviously not perfect. Wang hung a couple of sliders, and got a sinker or two up in the 5th. The Polanco double really wasn't on him (just as Abreu's 2-run single wasn't Robertson's fault at all), so overall I felt he pitched well. I also thought he could've finished the 7th.
Meyers sucks. Proctor and Farnsworth were both clearly nervous. I retain some trust in Proctor, I've never trusted Farnsworthless. Mo is Mo, but his command was off.
Jeter... 5 for 5, 2 singles, 2 doubles, HR.

p.s. Definitely got lucky to get Magglio out at 3rd on the blown hit & run. Wang doesn't usually get many swings & misses, so I thought the hit & run was a good idea too, but Wang threw a sick sinker down and in and Pudge couldn't get the bat on it. That was a big play.
****! Apparently the calf injury to El Duque is actually a torn calf muscle, making him not available for the entire playoffs! Son of a mother****ing *****!

Yeah... Trachsel usually inspires no confidence. I can't imagine Randolph is going to let Oliver Perez pitch much, though he really needed to be there in case of another injury to a starter (don't laugh, could happen). Heilman could start a game or two, but he's very valuable in the bullpen.
I'm surprised Perez was called to called to replace Hernandez instead of, say, Bannister or Pelfrey. They are young and untested, but Perez is... well, Perez. Hell, maybe they have a great (really great!) bullpen, just have the starter pitch 5 innings and let the pen take over every game.

Managers getting axed left and right. Showalter is the latest.
