in the Wiki article I posted it says Penn and Teller hired 2 different Feng Shui people to do their home. And they did it 2 different ways.
    So?
What are you trying to say:

Is this like saying; 2 compositors who are studying the laws of harmony and melody, they sould end with 2 same piece.

that just proves it's more art than science. That's all I need to know.

I support people spending their money, as long as they know this isn't a science, but a form of art. Nothing wrong with art.

What a lot of people don't get is that there's two broad categories of religions: religions with mass pacticipation or religions that are focused on a small group and don't really impact most people's everyday lives all that much. To roughly categorize:

          Mass-based religions:

          Protestant Christianity
          Sunni Islam

          Priest/monk-based religions:

          Catholicism
          Gnosticism
          Buddhism
          Sufism
          Shi'a Islam
          Taoism

The upshot of this is that in most cases Buddhism etc. (definately all the trendy Eastern religions) are full time jobs if you want to do them properly and most of their teachings have about as much impact on the day to day life of the average Asian Buddhist as Franciscan monasticism (or whatever) has on the average western Catholic's day to day life.

A lot of people don't get that and buy into phony Americanized "Eastern Religion Lite..."

Ditto on the two ways. I watched one of those design shows and they got three different practioners for Feng Shui and they all did it different as well. One said don't use red it goes against all principles Feng Shui and the other of course said Oh use red it's the main principle of FS.

I was just curious about different aspects of it, for example everything I've read about it so far says to always close the bathroom door and keep the toliet seat down but I haven't actually been able to figure out why besides the obvious But this seems to be a standard across the board for Feng Shui. So it got me curious. I have a good eye for design, my problem is trying to figure out where to put all the large furniture that I inherited when dad died. Our living room is not the biggest and we got some very large pieces.

You do realise Feng Shui is more than just decorating tips?
