Then this woo-woo would be perfect for you.

          Enjoy.

Btw, I have some magnetic bracelets for sale. They'll cure every disease under the sun. All you have to do is wear them consistently (and send me $$ of course). Interested?

            No Wezil I'm not interested.

I'm simply trying to be open minded about things. One reaches a point in ones life where change is good and exploring is good and being open to new ideas never hurts. As I said have been studying some of the Eastern cultures and rituals and I think they may just have it right....although 'tis just a theory. They seem to live in relatiave harmony and peace and calm so since they seem to implement the chi and placements of furnishings I figured why not? Everyone should be open to trying and exploring new things.

They seem to live in relatiave harmony and peace and calm

              Today I have heard:
              -Neighbors screaming and throwing bottles.
-Trucks driving around the streets blasting on loudspeaks about how they're selling bananas.
-Psychotic yapping lap dogs with hairdos
              -Insane traffic.
-Students braindead in my 7:00-9:30 PM class because they've been studying since early in the morning and attend school 250 days a year and extra lessons for most of the remaining 100-odd.
              -Pastic surgery bandages galore.
              -etc. etc. etc.

Asia is a fun place to live but it is not exactly known for a superabundance of "harmony, peace and calm."

Being open to new ideas is fine. I just find it frustrating to see what should be normal, rational people being sucked in by superstition. It is not a theory and no demonstrable benefits can be linked to it.

If you want to make your home more aesthetically pleasing hire an interior decorator. You may at least get something for your money.

don't know how much peace and calm I would get.....Mother in Law is an interior decorator! And I don't want to get sucked in either that's why I've been staying away from the just send me $99 for me to tell you how to declutter! Our family seems to be gravitating to our home these days so I was simply looking for a way to make it more pleasing while calm, but with three grandchildren all under the age of 3 I don't think that's in the cards!

And I bet you 50$, that the interior decorator, will be using feng shui principle to decorate her home.

my friend wears those. She says it helps with arthritis. Not sure if that actually works, but I'll take her word for it.

I'm just reminded of one of those Taiwanese legislative sessions when they ended up in a fist fight.

                            harmony my ass.

in the Wiki article I posted it says Penn and Teller hired 2 different Feng Shui people to do their home. And they did it 2 different ways.

As I suspected, they just pull it out of their ass. ie: make it up as they go along.
