I think some clarification might be needed here, if the rolling eyes are being deployed.

Someone said 'how could he have known they were Muslim'? and I postulated that perhaps she was wearing something distinctively characteristic. The burka would be an extreme example, but I was observing that plenty of Muslim women in my part of Britain are very heavily veiled, up to and beyond full covering of the face with just eye-slits.

(By beyond I mean the cage-like structures which conceal all shape, I don't know all the nomenclature.)

I see a wide variety of veiled women of an assortment of ethnicities (from what can be observed ) in my city. Their garb varies greatly in color, style and how much of the face it conceals. I have never assumed that they are ALL Muslim alhough perhaps they are.
