        Yes, when you turn the state media into a mouthpiece for your political party.

        Besides, the PM is not the head of state. He is the head of government.

          Any party wanting to win an election in Thailand will have to make sure he gets the rural votes.

          What was ironic about this goverment is that Taksin came to power on a "Thailand for the Thai" campaign, but pretty much the only thing he did was selling of Thai assets half price to foreign companies while boosting his own companies with favourable taxlaws and contracts.

          Btw, just as his business partners Taksin himself is not Thai but Chinese.
