Your team does not suck, IMHO. You've got some very strong names, and some great young talent to watch.

I always do a draft post-mortem. In my case, I think my early rounds(1-3) are a little suspect, but from then on I think I did well. No doubt has something to do with the increasing amount of research and analysis I had done as we progressed.

I would go against any team with my team. I think that even though not all of them score points, it's more balanced that way. And I had to pull few 'lower' names to make it interesting for me.

In terms of fantasy hockey, I'm not on top because like you guys laughed about Kapanen, yeah I know. He has no trade value right now, his career has seen the best moments already, and if he won't be used in the blueline for PP, he will gain even less points. But in real life, I would still take him. He is one of the fastest skaters. I do feel I need strong skaters for 3rd and 4th line especially, with a good playmaker they can score against anyone at any moment, they're surely not weak links by any means, and since it's impossible to get a team with 4 lines of superstars, I think that's the way to go. I like his style, however he is too inefficient.

I do like my defense and I do like my goalie. The problem is, Nitty and Esche will split up time, I feel Nitty is superior to Esche, but Nitty has some problems with the coach/managment, so he will split time and won't be clear G #1.

I don't feel bad at all about any of my players, but two of them were a bit of reach, Kapanen and Salmelainen. I do have high hopes for Salmelainen and like I said, in real world I would have picked him. In fantasy hockey, not so sure anymore. Again, maybe too much thinking of good 3rd line or so, when you should go for first line in this game.

While I'm happy with most of my team (could I have made better picks? sure, but there good picks) I'm worried over the fight for 1# goalie in Anaheim. I think that Bryzgalov and Giguere will spilt the entire year (wish I gotten Bryzgalov...)

Yup. I think that while LA and Chicago have the same defense (bad) Khabibulin is a better goalie than Cloutier, and should bounce back (somewhat)

Actually, LA has one of the better blue lines in the West. Visnovsky, Blake, Nordstrom, Sopel, Miller and Gleason is a pretty solid bunch.
