      More seriously;

standing up in what we believe is right, being able to win in competition, integrity, honor

"being able to win in competition" it's not really what I wanted to say:

What i wanted to say is:
Be willing to fight, even if we lose or not (Fighting about anything; women, love, truth, war, etc..)

And being not afraid to lose

          makes excellent sense

Being afraid and doing what has to be done anyway. is in that line of thought.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
"Hating America is something best left to Mobius. He is an expert Yank hater.
He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead

Perhaps Universal but I am speaking individually, as in what are some attributes, as in drinker=No man of his word =yes

What goes for me is total alien to my next door neighbour.

              Maybe maybe not
Maybe I didn't make myself clear. (It's hard to express yourself in a language that's not your own. I probably should stick to one-liners ).

What I'm trying to say is that every individual has different values. What I belief to be right may be wrong to someone else and vice versa. And as long as our respective acting on those believes doesn't hurt one or both of us, both our believes are valid. I'm no more right than my neighbour. I used to think that what goes for me should go for everyone. Not anymore.

About stumbling through life... You told us in some thread that you have a history of drugs abuse (please correct me if I'm wrong here) but with a lot of struggle left that part of your life behind and are now a happy grandfather. Now you really can't convince me that becoming an addict was a conscience decission on your part. It just happened. Okay, to kick the habbit was a decission you made and you stuck to it But what was it that made you make that decission? I bet it was by pure chance. You met someone, or something happened or whatever. Chance, and that is what I mean that we just stumble through life, improvising all the way and hoping it will turn out right.

Don't know if I should leave that last paragraph in because I'm not sure I get my meaning across. Maybe I should go to a Dutch board, but then again, they don't have any Grandpa Trolls there...
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
              Once again...

Man, i take this much to seriously, I must be getting old

I remember early in life a wise man told me Truth is a matter of perspective and conviction

I learned later as a Federal Lawman working as a Traffic Officer, in an accident, depending where the witness is, believes what they saw to be the truth, pass a polygraph and not be lying but perhaps from another angle someone else would see something entirely different

Indeed Truth has many a jagged edge
