And Whaleboy, I'm surprised by you.
    Why?

Neither. The one who follows the science.

Of course, if you extract whatever limited science fits your preconceived conclusions, then statistics (a field in which you are very eager to boast your vast expertise) will justify whatever you want. Of course, that's not going to do anything about the greater body of evidence that shows climate change to be caused by humans, or your feeble comprehension of scientific method .

Idiot. There is reasonable debate and then there is unlawful activity. What they're doing is unlawful activity. If a construction company breaks an underground powerline they must pay not just to fix that line but also to pay for the lost business of EVERY SINGLE person/company who lost power. Why the **** should these ****bags get special treatment? They should be forced to suffer the same consequences that actual businesses must labor under.

Indeed he did. Britain's greatest secret agent solved that case long ago.

Having studied with a bunch of them and realizing what pompous clueless self absorbed asses they usually are and being around them via my father's teaching at Universities I'ld say its usually for good cause.

I blame the Media, Science journalism generally sucks. Journalists by thier nature too easily frame things in a way that makes people think there is a debate where there is none. The GW denialists are to Climatology what Creationists are to Biology.

HIGW sceptics doesn't give in so easily, so let us twist the smearing a bit more by comparing them with creationists and make them general GW deniers.

I guess that under the right circumstances you would have been a proud Lysenko defender.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

It's the GW denialists that are like Lysenko.

Hey Odious, temperature gradients dont have anything to do with hurricanes? At least learn the subject before looking down your nose at us GW "denialists".

You apparently didn't read the Wiki article I posted in the hurricane thread.
