After the orbital strikes, Thunderhawk bombardments, Whirlwinds, Vindicators, fusion and starfire and finally Battle Brothers with flamers had finished cleansing the world of all the enemies of Man, we built a monastery in the center of the largest, most radioactive impact crater. We named the planet "Tranquility", for it was very quiet now.
Lonestar, about your sig, it´s from WH40K?
        By the way, it´s great

Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

                  Short Version:

Feudal Galaxy in the 41st Century. 500 Trillion or so humans. (The Human Imperium being far and away the strongest power in the Galaxy). IN a state of perpetual civil war for the past 10,000 years, plus misc. Alien threats.

                  Long version?

Errr...I'd start here and follow the links. It's a doozy.

The Thrawn series of Star Wars books was OK, but I couldn't stomach the Wraith Squadron series. The main characters seemed to have the personalities of a bunch of middle schoolers.

Myself I used to be a Star Wars geek, but then I was introduced to anime. ^_^
