Star Wars sucks, I prefer real Sci-Fi, not space opera.

                    IE it was too "liberal"

IIRC the TOS was also "liberal". Its just that things have changed so much, what was "liberal" in the 1960's, looks incredibly unPC from the standpoint of the 1980s and later.

They lost my interest in a hurry. The notion that this leftist feel good BS would survive conditions in space, particularly in wars of human survival vs enemies no better than slavers, no not that good as they took your free will, lacked any basis in any plausable reality to the point that I watch SpongeBob instead.

If you want some good touchy-feely idealism read Kim Stanely Robinson's Blue Mars.

I want all the Star Wars figures and ships I had as a kid, but I'm not desperate enough to consider Ebay. If I saw a box of such toys for sale at a garage sale, I might consider, but no doubt fiends buy such things first to later flog on Ebay.

                          Ebay is evil.
