I'm torn between Reynolds, Sheridan and Old Craterface. I think I'll go with Adama. Sheridan ended up more a politician than a warrior, and he did command a station. And I haven't watched all of Firefly yet.

I voted for Kirk. Picard talked his way out of situations too much. Maybe good in real life, but for TV -
