I'll take any EU member or Scandinavian paradise type country before the US.

You know lower crime rates,quality public health system, larger middle class, not executing minors, no death penalty for anyone, better health, more gun control, less paranoya, lower likleyhood of a theochratic revolution, less wars started in recent years and the general satisfactory of living with people who know the Earth isn't flat and that if God did have a hand in creating the world, he took a hell of a lot more time than seven days.

Note: The UK and Poland don't meet these standards but are at least 30-70% better.
