    I don't think many people are concerned about Iran launching a nuclear missile at someone. They are concerned about a nuclear-armed Iran knowingly or unknowingly putting nuclear materials/expertise into the hands of terrorist groups.


    The deterrence argument should still apply, even if proxies are involved. Israel says to Iran "If Hezbollah or Hamas nuke us, we're gonna have one guess where they got it from and nuke you."

      Of course, even if they don't launch nukes, they could always use a nuclear deterent as a shield while they escalate their terrorist activities.

        4878/365 = ~13.3 years.
        But what if Bandar-e Abbas, Shiraz, and Esfahan produce Caravans and send them to Tehran to rush build the Manhattan project?
