      • "Pulver ist schwarz, Blut ist rot, Golden flackert die Flamme" (that's from a song from the XIXth century)

(gun powder is black, blood is red, golden flickers the flame)

Sounds greatly like a free and tolerant society to me.

          • Yes, our genetic defects. We should better send (sell) these flags now to Poland. Kaczynski morons will surely perform a nice happening the next weeks where German flags could be useful.

And apparantly he still can't bring himself to say exactly what was said except it was very personal about his mother and sister and Materazzi kept saying it over and over, to the point where Zidane said he'd "rather have taken a blow in the face" than hear it again.

And Materazzi ain't saying what he said either.

                  • Some interesting US TV ratings news. For the Italy-France finale it appears ABC got 11.9 million viewers while Univision got 5 mil more, total of 16.9 million viewers .

Great numbers there and compares very favorably to the 2006 NCAA college basketball finals and the 2005 World Series (each had a little over 17 mil viewers - though it was an average for the World Series), and it beat the average audience NBA Finals had

                            • Maybe the revision to the ranking method is more accurate like they are claiming? Or just dumb luck.
