I think Tehban is very busy these days. He pops in once every two monthes or so (at least on Eventis). If Thurbiin had a grave problem, I suppose Che would tell us about it.

Boris barely posted once he moved to Oregon, and he stopped posting completely. Might be related with work, personal life, or simply disinterest in 'Poly. Such can happen to some people.

I don't understand what the deal is with Ted. He hasn't posted in maybe three weeks, after having gotten considerable flak here. He might simply be doing something else. Heck, he could even merely be on vacation, far from the internet.

Boris is alive and well, but he also has had a big feud with the administrative staff on this site for very legit reasons. He's gone for those reasons, though he's still on MSN.

He just chose to let it die and left after the administration's abuses, I chose to fight.

Edit: The frustrating part is all of this nonsense happens via PM, not in public. 99% of you have no idea the kinds of things Markos says to people via PM that can enrage them. He acts like a 5 year old child and we should feel so blessed that he "runs the site", and instead of listening to feedback or trying to appear reasonable he'll reply (like Ming, frequently) with "blah blah blah", "hahahaha", and insults.

I'll tell you this: Many people here could run a better site than Markos has. Most of us just realize that as long as Markos leaves most people alone, people certainly won't defect, so there's not much point in starting up a new site for the community. I certainly could have coded a far better backend for the site, a more reliable one at that, with a far cleaner design. And I wouldn't appoint pro-censorship communists as moderators, either (nor myself, mind you).

I don't post these things for the purpose of an agenda or anything like that. I tell the truth as it is and what has happened, and people can tell me to **** off if they want. I don't care.

And I don't wish the community disbanded, and this would have nothing to do with it. The community shall live, even if this administration dies. The community didn't start on this site, after all.

My problem is Dan and Mark made the transition from a private site (which I've noticed Ming has stopped using as an excuse for crazy administrative behaviour) into a business. Their "free" stuff may be ad-supported, but their Poly Plus Service is certainly a service of a business. They are providing a service for a fee and are therefore subject to laws governing businesses.

Dan and Mark sincerely need a kick in the ass to remind them that this site isn't a private fan site anymore, at least for people who pay. It's fine to ban people who break the site rules, but it's not fine to have a terms of service with an "everything-under-the-sun" clause; it's not fine to enforce your terms of service of Apolyton on other websites that are not associated with Apolyton; and it's not fine to selectively enforce those rules and then ignore complaints or suggestions with comments mocking the customer.

This isn't about endearing "public support". Hell, the public supported me vs Urban Ranger for years and the administration didn't care. The administration on this site has no care at all for the opinion of their customers or their visitors, they ignore what they don't want to hear.

I like Asher.. and I think that Ming mostly does a decent job. However, he has been on a long time, and I think that he might be a little bit jaded on the job (or corrupted

). There aren't many who would be clearly better though.

Markos spent a lot of time on Apolyton while the meetings were going on... I tihnk it is important to him.
