Colon, let me ask you, would you allow a perfect stranger, leader or not, a stranger come up, raise your childs shirt and kiss the belly of a child of yours, without permission
If I were in a situation in which we were introduced to a stranger (which is more akin to what happened than the "bypasser on a street" scenario) and he'd do that, I'd be surprised, yes maybe even uncomfortable, but if it were obvious that no malice is intended I wouldn't think bad he's a creep nor feel a desire to smash him. I do not judge people on their form, but on their intent.
When I read about the story on BBC, my first thought was that it was news because you wouldn't expect Putin to shown warm affection, and it rather made me think well of the man that he could publicly could do it to a kid. Only afterwards it dawned to me that the reason was the unconventional manner of it. Still didn't expect it would lead people to call him a creep and the like.
