  • Global Warming: On the Record

Seeing as it's a bit wet in the US...

So where do you stand on Global Warming?

Please vote and post your view, so we can have a definitive record of where the posters of Poly lie for the future record.

Global Warming is occurring and is anthropogenic

Global Warming is occurring, but is the natural cycle of things

    Global Warming is not occurring
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Oh, and less expensive words dude...
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Nah, no need for a new thread - this one is sufficient :

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I really do not know enough about the science to tell.

I would say it is happening and is humans fault, but I am not confident of that and I could be swayed otherwise, with persuasive evidence.

So roughly 70% confidence, but plenty of room to be swayed.

The point is that is the correct term - surely posters on Poly are an intelligent lot, no?

And if you don't know what the word means, then I am edumacating you, am I not?

I am happy to see that you appear to be one of the ones who doesn't believe in Global Warming...

Remember, Global Warming does not respect any borders*

*Or should that be boarders in your case?

Where's the "occurring and anthropogenic but I still don't give a damn" option?
                        Unbelievable!

& "gen" implies creation/origin (e.g. psychogenic, somatogenic, etc.) Words like that should be easy to guess the first time.

If only it were merely a spelling joke, or a typo.

But the sad fact is it isn't because you actually spelled 'boader' correctly. No, the sad fact is your ignorance of the English language and getting to completely unrelated definitions hopelessly mixed up!
