Didn't the Chinese invent soccer in an opium den. Only instead of a ball, they used a severed head.

Yes, this joke will be used to death.

No, the Barbars invented it, using a live pig as a ball.

I'll admit that this is the only movie during which I've had to run to the bathroom in the theater and throw up (which is true.)

However, one or two bad movies can be overlooked when you have performances like that in Ali, or you make movies as awesome as MIB, ID4, and Enemy of the State.

And regardless...you can't say a career is ruined when you're offered $20 Million for a film.

It was a joke, folks. Irony. The unexpected. The "counter to what is true." The misdirection. The setup. A curveball.

Officially we were part of Oceania - but once we won that by thrashing such football nations as the Solomon Islands, we had to play the fifth placed team in the South American region for a shared spot...

We fit much better into Asia than South America - for one thing, there's no ocean between us

And people getting upset over someone opposite of the what the article is about. I wonder why Japher was saying it was about "Americans don't agree and therefore they are wrong", because it quite clearly was an "Americans don't agree and we never will, so stop pushing".

Not as funny as newspapers taking an Onion article seriously.

I wonder when they're going to issue a correction.

I guarantee that soccer will become more popular if you call foot cantelope. A cantelope or soccer? Which would you rather watch?

That's been different every World Cup, you've also managed to lose to Iran, Canada () and Scotland in the past and before 1982 Oceania and Asia shared one qualifier tournament (which might be the best solution actually, should return to that format)...
