    As far as this goes...

PreCollege I would stop work once I got to 82% (a B-). The only times I had a better grade then that was when I could get an A based upon tests. (I generally read books during class, I would do a bit of work between classes and the like)

In College I stopped work once I thought I understood everything.

In Gaduate School, I started drinking and playing more video games, and not going to class (which I did, even when I didn't do much work fo it). In Graduate School, I got the worse grades of my life (a couple Cs).

But if they're smart enough, it doesn't take 4 or 5 hours a day to do that...

At work the smartest people tend to do the minimium nessary to get by/a promotion/a raise/etc.

At some point, from my experience, there is always make work

stuff that is just intended to take time...

often this is the difference between a B and an A

so I generally get the B

            All people are lazy

It's just the clever ones that manage to get away with it.

I think the point is that the clever person might take their "B"s with no work and then be clever enough to find a far better job than you have.

No insult intended but how clever is it to get into a crappyn job situation and stay there?

I disagree that everyone is lazy. I've come to the conclusion that I'm lazy after seeing others in my accounting courses. Many of them even studied on Friday night. They would worry about assignments that weren't due for weeks. I don't know how people can live like that.

It's a generalization, Kid. Of course not EVERYONE is lazy. But most are.

There are go-getters out there, but they're the minority.

pchang has it right: all (most) people are lazy, but the clever ones get away with it. Bingo.

I know what you mean. Some people seem to be far more highly strung than others...

Maybe it's because they have to be to get by (or achieve their goals).

It depends on your location maybe. Like I said, when I was studying accounting it seems like I was the minority. Then again if I go to beach or something then maybe it seems like everyone is lazy.

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
