    Anyone know what a stewardess makes?

    Not one of the international carriers, one of the local hubs.

    Dolores got offered a job today by a woman who is in charge of the flight attendants at a hub. It would mean relocating to Portland Or, and a new job for Lancer, plus leaving behind our free apartment so there will be a downside. Question is, what's the upside $?

    Also, we might be able to get really cheap or even FREE tickets to the Philippines which means going every winter. :salivate:

          Very little I imagine. If I had to guess I'd say it started out at $2000 per month or less since it is a desirable job (free travel) plus a friend of mine is a pilot and I know what he makes so the cabin crew can't more. Given the amount of time your wife would be away from home (2-4 nights per weeks since she'd be the new person who gets the shifts no one else wants) I'd say just pay for the tickets to the PI and find Delores a different job.

                  On the application it lists 'salutation' as one of the fields to fill out. Anyone know what they want?

                    I think that means the person's title, though I'm not sure. Eg Mr X, or Ms Y, or, should your wife actually be an underaged boy, Master Z.

                      Oerdin, Zevico, thanks. This job is still up in the air, Dolores hasn't decided, but it looks less likely. Do you guys think it would hurt her chances to inquire what it pays?

                            If it hurts to find out what it pays, then I think it's not a place of work you'd like to be in. Basically it's somewhere where you get shafted if that hurts you.
