That can't be allowed. at all. Almost nothing would be worse than that short of a world war.
      Or a nuclear war ...

And that is a load of bull, pure and simple.

          1. NK already has plutonium, and there is nothing the US can do short of invasion to get it out of their hands anymore, unless we are willing to pay top dollar for it outselves.

          2. Mass counterfeiting is not a crackpot idea at all- you get ready cash to use,a nd undermine the dollar. Its probably not effective, but its not insane.

If NK wants to seel plutonium to "terrorist", they would do it tommorrow. But I find that notion as stupid as I found it when people said it of Iraq. A state player like NK gains nothing by doing such a thing. Terrorist are not likely to have enough cash anyways, and if the plutonium is tracked back to them, that opens them up to attack.

Ehh, where did you get this from? AFAIK Korean War 2 has been wargamed to death with serious problems for the South, incl loss of Seoul in the first days.

I was searching that image for some flaws for several minutes before I realised it was a joke.

We had it much worse. My parents went to Berlin in 1982, and came back shocked. And shopped.

NK would be wiped out in any war. SK is militarilly much stronger conventionally than NK, and any use of nukes by NK vs. SK or Japan would bring US nuclear attack.

The point is, if NK begin to totally collapse, than under that circumstance there would be no reaosn not to go to war for the NK leadership. What SK spends now keeping NK afloat, and ditto China, is a lot cheaper than any war would be, and in the end, it costs less North Korean lives as well.

West or East B? There sure wasn't much opportunity for shopping in East B in 1982. Still more than in mainland GDR though.
