    • Why shill for the DPRK then when the regime spits on such a concept?

          Hmmm...the "rule of law"?

Ever take the time to look at the armistice agreement? Ever take the time to realize that we are still technically at war with DPRK? Ever take time to realize that recognition of ROK by DPRK would probably lead to a peace treaty? Ever realize that DPRK is the problem here?

          Didn't think so.

"Liability for Damage Caused by Space Objects (1972)Over 76 nations, including the United States and the former USSR,are parties to this treaty. It specifies that the launching state is liable for compensation for damages caused by its space objects, on the groundor in outer space, based on showing of fault. The damages are to be based “on principles of international law, justice, and equity†to restore damaged material or locations to their original position orcondition. The claims are to be presented through diplomatic channels. When the Soviet Union’s Kosmos-954 nuclear-powered satellite fell over western Canada in 1978, the Canadians billed the USSR for the cleanup expenses. Pursuant to the treaty, Moscow did in fact pay Canada about half of its claim."

the Australians got to keep skylab.

wow, I wonder where all that money goes. AFAIK japan is nowhere near number 4 in the capabilities of it's land, sea or air forces.

So Kuci, where did you copy that last soundbite from? It's not exactly you came up with it.

Well yeah, it's a ceasefire, but what did the DPRK do that has caused it to be voided?

When did the DPRK violate international law last? When did, oh, say, the US violated international law last?

Actually, Japan's armed forces are formidable. They have a rather large Navy and around 250,000 very well equipped troops.

They are even building two extremely light aircraft carriers to "ensure the safety of the sea lanes". Currently they have around 30 Destroyers and several submarines forming the backbone of their Navy.

Of course, this is all to just defend the Japans.
