'Age of Imperialism' has a ring to it. What age are we in?
That's a rather small window. The Bronze and Iron Age weren't named for their weapons, but for their tools. There's a lot more use for these metals then just weaponry . The gunpowder age is a ridiculous phrase and not used commonly.
The industrial Age: well you described very well where it got it's designation from.
Atomic: not from blowing two bombs, but for harnessing it as fuel.
You are putting a pretty positive spin on it... but don't crap me now...
The first person who figured out how to make a bronze "tool"... what do you think he used that tool for? How long until these tools were used for weapons?
War has usually been a driving force for technological advancement... human history has been one giant arms race.

so Information Age.
By that equation a more fitting tag would be Confusion Age.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Hmmm.
I tend to agree with you...Evolution is one great arms race, be it stealth or razor.
The majority of bronze and iron artefacts recovered from excavations isn't weapons though, it's jewelry
The Americans Were Too Obese To Save Europe's Ass For The Third Time In A Row Age
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
While there is a 'Roman Age', there's no 'British Age' (which blends in with the industrial age.)
The same will be for the US. It has had significant influence in the 20th century but it has never been fundamentaly different then it's ancestors (old Europe). Furthermore the US is no Rome: it has gotten it's ass handed too often a time to stand up to the comparison.
Yes, Rome has gotten its ass handed to it too many times to stand in comparison with the US.
