Russia is probably hockey rather than soccer. And South Korea is baseball.
Aren't some of Balkans basketball?
Pretty crappy map.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
Is there a country on that map where Ausie Rules Football is number one? And WTF is "Gaelic Football"?

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

The rules of the Gaelic sports (hurling, gaelic football, camogie and a fourth whose name I can never remember) were formalised in Ireland in the late 19th century in response to the increasing popularity of foreign (English) sports. I couldn't tell you the rules of gaelic football to save my life but an overly simplified explanation would be Aussie rules with a round ball.
Yeah, in a similar way to Aussie Rules being streetfighting with an extraneous oval ball, Gaelic Football has a round ball.
But they don't play in vests, and certainly not the vests with the little sleeves that didn't cover the shoulders that were in vogue some years ago.
So Gaelic Football lives up to the obvious stereotype of soccer played while drunk and featuring plenty of fights?

I have not confused Iran and Mongolia. I said that I expected that Iran has wrestling as No. 1 sport too.
I am pretty sure that wrestling is at least the second most popular sport in Iran.
