If brown people start PRAISING ALLAH, yes
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

That explains why the overwhelming majority of Islamic countries are peaceful democracies that hate terrorism and welcome tourists from USA and Israel

So, when are we going to start recognizing Somaliland? (Seeing as it's not controlled by these Muslim fundamentalists.)

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Used to be when a bunch of asswipe dictatorial corrupt thugs needed help from the US for a civil war, they'd whine that the rebels were full of commies and commie sympathizers.

Now they whine the rebels are full of al Qaeda.

Probably true, in both cases, but given the behavior of the warlords, is there much doubt the local will think these rebels an improvement?

For all the fear of commies in the old days, the commies never actually launched massive terrorist attacks on US soil. Makes you wonder doesn't it?

No. they supported the IRA, the Baader Meinhof gang, Black September, and other luvable types instead.

Bah, you just had to go and impose reality on my fake nostalgia, didn't you? To be fair though, we supported the Taleban and equally luvable types of people in South America.

individual yanks did. To our shame our govt didnt stop it (not till much later)

note - apparently the KGB itself preferred the Official IRA to the provos, but the Cubans seem to have supported the provos.

Maybe Mogadisho will become less of a lawless hellhole now. It's unfortunate that the stability comes at the cost of having theocrats at the helm however.
