Let's maintain the level of discusion or I'll strike back and post a picture of "Weasley" and cap'n Janeway.

    Hah! Take your best shot.

Teh Crusher and Janeway are only as lame as the Ewoks. Even the VOY transwarp-evolution episode can't compare to the lameness of teh Jar-Jar.
    What about the Kazon, huh...
I'm not buying BtS until Firaxis impliments the "contiguous cultural border negates colony tax" concept.

VOY is like 30-40 yrs after TNG/DS9? The old Janeway from the future could go back in time to the young Wesley... and kill him to protect the future of the Star Trek franchise.

            No, they are nearly concurrent.

                        • Fortunately, I haven't seen SG-1 and SG-Atlantis in a couple years. From what I hear the franchise has gone downhill...

First, the Guould. Then the replicants or whatever. Then the Wraith. And now, the "Ori?" Yes, the lame writers keep coming up with DExM solutions that trivialize one threat, so they have to invent another. Yeah, it is the way most of these scifi serials go but SG has raised it to a level that rivals the particle/radiation of the week in ST.

                          • You can hardly make a series that doesn't have to continually come up with new enemies.
Something needs to keep the show going and the guould only worked for like 8 seasons. The replicators were a side enemy (more an enemy of the asgard rather than directly ours). The Wraith are only applicable to atlantis on a parrallel story line, not connected to sg-1. The Ori are the newer more powerful enemies that provides a new dynamic for the Sg-1 universe to keep going for well at least season ten. An Enemy gives the story a nice bit of continuity.

                            • I've always wondered why all of the earth-shattering enemies seem to wait until the time period of the show or movie then all of a sudden queue up to attack. They could have attacked a little before or after that time and had a cake walk. All too convenient.

                              • SG-1 accidently led the Ori to our galaxy. This wouldn't have happened if they hadn't let General Hammond and Colonel O'Neil go. Of course it was Colonel O'Neil's SG-1 which led the Gaould and the Replicators to Earth previously. There's a lesson to be learned I suppose.
