What's really disgusting is how utterly partisan the Bush Administration always is about everything. When it comes time to close military bases it isn't what the military needs which matters and instead the BRAC gets packed with political cronies and only blue state bases get closed no matter what the military needs are. When it comes time to distribute terrorism defense funds then need isn't considered at all and instead all the money goes to Republican districts. It's insane that they're claiming New York isn't a target and that there are no American Icons there.

Bush is literally the worst President since 1932.

If there was any actual thought put into how we distribute anti-terrorism funds then the first two places to get get funded would be New York and LA since we know that in the past Al Qaeda has actually targeted those cities. Only after those two were fully funded would we fund things like border control, other large cities with major landmarks (think Chicago, San Francisco, etc), then airport security, and then craphole towns like Omaha.

People can afford housing in Omaha because no one wants to live in Omaha. San Diego >> Omaha.

Warren Buffett seems to like it well enough. Who's the most successful person in San Diego?

Well, I am not seeing much from the Dems either on this issue besides a lot of meaningless election rhetoric.
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

                LA? Don't you mean Washington?

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

San Diego sucks as a city. After all, the original meaning of its name comes from the German for "Whale's Vagina."

1932? I don't think Hoover was nearly as bad.

The founder of McDonald's lived here with his wife., Dr. Suess wrote all of his books here, Jonas Salk (who invented the cure for polio) was a San Diegan, Marcus Allen (probably the best football player ever) is from San Diego, Irwin Jacobs (founder of Qualcomm and the world's 413th richest person according to Forbes) grew up and lives here, Margaret Cargill the 438th richest person in the world (heiress to the Cargill fortune) also lives here, Theodore Waitt (founder of Gateway Computer and the world's 488th richest person) lives here, David Copley (548th richest person in the world and owner of Copley Press) lives here, a grand total of 8 of the world's richest people live here but I'll stop listing them. Next we can look up America's richest neighborhoods and then we'll see that San Diego's Rancho Santa Fe neighborhood is the second richest neighborhood in the US and is beat only by a place on Long Island, NY. If we wanted to judge the desirability of a place by the number of people who live there, visit there, and who decide to spend their precious vacation time there then I dare say San Diego pwns Omaha.

Forbes also rated San Diego as #7 on the best cities in America. I'm afraid I didn't see Omaha on the list. http://www.forbes.com/finance/lists/...&datatype=Misc

Shall I go on or did I prove my point?

Why don't you two just whip out your penises and be done with it?

Or not. San Diego - Saint Diego (or Saint Donald in English). It's just a standard Catholic Saint.

You proved mine. The second richest man in the world finds Omaha to be a perfectly suitable place to live. The most successful person to call San Diego home, on the other hand, is only the 413th richest, based on your data. Game, set, match, Omaha...

Marcus Allen (probably the best football player ever) is from San Diego

Gale Sayers was a better back and he was from Omaha. Omaha produced Ahman Green as well. Does San Diego have any running backs in the NFL at the moment?
