I'd like to see your prediction of Angola winning come true, would be a great upset. The only downside would be that I'd lose my $10 bet on Portugal to win the group and Angola to finish with 0 points.

Ok, I found a game on the Spanish channel. But I have no idea who is playing or which team is which.

One team is orange and the other in white. I think its SKG (or SCG, my tv isn't great either, ehhe) vs. NED. So... I'm assuming NED is the Netherlands and SCG is Serbia.. right? Which team is which?

Edit: ok they showed a flag next to one of the players, so I'm thinking orange is Netherlands (makes sense).

This doesn't change the group outcome, but my other change-of-predictions to come possibly will.

How does the system cope with this, Dauphin? Because every time someone changes a score prediction, it could change the group qualification prediction too?

This means that someone's group 1st & 2nd predictions could be changed right up until the final game, and this would be valid, right? Does the system check that the results predictions match their qualie predictions or not, and what happens if there's a mismatch?

You can't change qualifying predictions once a game in that group has started, so the predictions are independent of score predictions. I for instance made no effort to make sure there were no contradictions. Indeed if they are, I was clearly just hedging my bets

As VG says, group finishing position and results are independent.

You could, for example predict Brazil to lose all three games and finish top of their group. If you want to hedge your bets that is.

Only the score and result have to (necessarily) be consistent.
