  • You ever think of throwing it all away?

    maybe it's a midlife crisis thing. .

quitting job, becoming a bum. travelling the earth. the bad thing about being a bum is sleeping outside, and the lack of a bathroom to clean yourself up in.

Why continue working and accumulating money?

Yes but unfortunatly you have to have money to survive, society is set up that way.

... Why continue working and accumulating money?

We have idols(prosperity, fame, acceptation of society, sex, women, etc) over our head, and we try to jump as high as possible to grap them. And this is what we call... Life.

We do not see they are just idols made of wood; there is nothing inside of them, nada, rien, niet!

The beautiful things of this, is, this is NOT WORKING! hahaha, and we continue trying to grab these idols. And we realise each day, each ****ing day, that this is worth nothing!

And now, this 2 verse means something:

" 'My son,' the father said, 'you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' "

"If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple"

Vincent: "So what you gonna do?"
Jules: "Well, basically, I'm just gonna walk the earth."
Vincent: "What you mean 'walk the earth'?"
Jules: "You know, like Kane in 'Kung Fu'...go places...meet people...get in adventures..."
                  Vincent: "For how long?"
Jules: "As long as it takes."
Vincent: "As long as it takes for what?"
Jules: "Until God puts me where he wants me to be."
Vincent: "So you decided to be a bum?"
Jules: "I'll just be Jules, Vincent...no more...no less..."

                    anyways, I'm just being silly.

but there's an event coming up I'm really dreading.

it sometimes seems like it'd be easier to give up all social interaction and become a hermit somewhere. Though I'm sure insanity would soon follow. Everything has it's drawbacks.

if you have seen my house, you wouldn't say so. It's pretty bare bones. Only the essentuals. I really don't have anything of value except my Mustang. I'm not giving that up. I need it for work. It earns my living.
