I tossed and turned about posting it. Then last night, in such pain and flying or cruisin on Demarol,Valium and Phenergan took the courage.

This thread I hope people will see was not about "You B@$t@rd$ or dopeheads but more to reflect on how one persons actions (and not limited to drugs and alcohol) can affect another persons life, and the simple pleasures of walking or sleeeping pain free.

I love Apolyton and hate no one person here. A couple people I, not them, stepped over the line with by my pushing my version of humor.

I find Apolyton a family, a sometimes dysfunctional but more often than that a loving family.

I am sure gonna miss Apolycon06 but will be htere in spirit!

Jim, a friend of mine, tell this story.

One of his college buddies (from a very well-to-do family) got into drugs while attending USC and disappeared for years. His family finally located him living under a bush. They took him home, cleaned him up, and got him into rehab.

Jim and other friends (who by that time were all working very hard and making lots of money) went to see him. Jim comment, "You might not have a lot of money, but you sure have a lot of great memories."

The response came back, "Hell Jim, I don't remember a thing!"

No, I said I used to do drugs

I am on drugs now as a result of the accident

I was not on drugs at the time, perhaps I may have misstated as I am currently on Heavy Meds, if you point it out I will assuedly apologize,

I would consider myself a Victim.

I ask, am I wrong to assume since I was working, headed in a company vehicle to a company function, obeying the traffic laws by being stopped at a red light, got run into by a man who was doing drugs and failed to reduce speed.

Am I off in Left field to consider myself a victim?

I also had a passenger with me as well.

Just asking, seems maybe Im reading into this you dont feel I should catergorize myself a victim?

only as a result of the immense pain am I using prescription drugs, which help mask but dont rid of the pain.

So your saying its all even steven since I get to be in constant pain and discomfort, cant work and pretty much am relegated to minimal functions, that I am NOT a victim?

I'll spell it out, I was talking of illegal drugs which cause things such as what happened to me.
