or maybe avaoid the fact that this case the man was high on cocaine and did total my truck, mess my back up knock me out of work and cause me hardship
      theres one case Beserker
People who dont use drugs dont have accidents? I dont know why he hit you but coke being a moderate stimulant I dont automatically assume coke caused the accident, but I do know I'm not responsible so dont blame me. You have your message and I have mine.

Beserker, I dont know how old you are.
I smell a lecture coming on

I dont know if you have family or not
      me I have a wife
      a son and a daughter
      and 2 grandchildren

I probably feel a little differently about people going out drunk or under the influence than others
Thats true, I don't use DUIs to attack people who dont DUI. Now, you said that was a mistake, fine, I accepted that. So why are you arguing with me?

      Doc
There's plenty of evidence regarding the role of pot and cocaine in traffic accidnets, other accidents and violence. We've been down this road before beaucoup de temps. When confronted with cold facts that you can't refute you'll just get huffy about how mere facts are inconsequential when compared with your self-appointed rights.
How many adults in their 40s or older have caused accidents while driving under the influence of pot or coke? Dont tell me you provided cold hard facts dealing with this question, we've never even debated it (I hope that wasn't one of your cold hard facts, its already in flames). So what cold hard facts are you talking about? As for "self-appointed rights", I'd much rather "appoint" them for myself than let you decide for me. Is that a sin?

      • wow, instant relief? That concept doesn't seem to go with back pain. You see, I was hit about 25 years ago by a sober driver and I've had back pain ever since. I had a beer in my hand when he hit me, ironic, huh?

thats what I am being told

I can only go with what I am being told.
Oh and yoiur @zz is out in Coke being a moderate stimulant.

Im a former user and while its not Crystal Meth it does impair severly, making you jumpy and fidgety

and I only started this to share to have hopes that some would make a second decision than immediate and drive while impaired.

Seems to me you have no idea what pain is caused by a person being high. and also yes people do have accidents who arent.

I am appalled that you still miss the point that people get hurt when intoxicated people drive.

I am not argueing that some accidents happen with no impairing elements involved.

This accident happened because he was high and never let up and ran right through me.

I missed this point? I just dont blame others when a drunk driver hurts someone... If you gotta quote where I said no one is ever hurt by drunkdrivers, I'd like to see it.

Coke is a moderate stimulant, meth is strong. And neither ever "impaired" me when driving. I used speed for a few years when I drove for a living and I'm convinced I owe my life to the effectiveness of speed keeping me awake. And far from impairing, speed increases alertness and reaction time which is why major leaguers were using it long before steroids showed up.

The problems with speed is not getting enough rest and nutrients (de-calcification), but there is no better weight loss drug. It was made illegal because some people lack self control, so we have millions of obese people who also lack self control when it comes to food prevented from using a weight loss drug that is very effective.

I dont know the nature of your injury, are they going to make you bionic? I think thats the term they use now for titanium discs they use to replace bone discs. Some guy in the army was telling me how they put $40,000 of metal into his spine to replace discs and it worked like a miracle (and he was bad off too).

Gramps, you didn't have your seat belt fastened?

I am glad you are all right. Just a few days ago I was thinking to myself, "Haven't seen Grampa Troll on quite time."

                • thats a nasty whiplash, when I got hit I didn't even notice the bent frame on my 66 chevelle or the pain until the next day. And since I didn't report any pain that night the cop later accused me of faking pain to get money.

                    • Gramps, I wish you a speedy recovery. It sucks to hear of people getting hit, especially by people who shouldn't be on the road.

I just like to mention something in regards to your younger life and the turning towards drugs. That was a perfect example of how prohibition doesn't work. Imagine if you will, drugs are legal and regulated by the government. Being under 18, you wouldn't have been sold them. Being legal and regulated, gangs would have no influence over them. You'd know exactly what you're getting, no lacing. They'd be no black market for drugs.

Instead we have prohibition and the black market and all the social problems that follow.

I did hold on to the steering wheel and it bent it back toward me. I never made contact with it as far as I know UR

thats why there is such money in the drug trade, and unfortunately, other crimes associated with territorial control.

                            • keep us updated on the medical procedures and progress, it sounds like they've been making some headway replacing parts of the spine. Some day, an all titanium spinal column

oh yeah, be thankful you can feel that pain, and sorry I was a source for more

                              • Even better would be a durable elastic replacement disc that could be just slipped in after removing the debris of the broken one. After all back pain from degenerated and protruding discs is far more common than broken vertebral bones.
