Can only suggest again going with a cheap airline to Hamburg, Amsteram or London then changing to a big airline trans atlantic

All the discount intra-US carriers that I know of use the hub-and-spoke system, so you'd have to plan your route based on that if you wanted to use them. AFAIK, BWI is not a hub for any discount airlines (nor is JFK), so you'd first have to fly into an airport that is a hub for a carrier than flies to BWI. Look into Atlanta or Newark. If you can fly into Atlanta, for example, you can probably pick up an AirTran flight to BWI for $89 each way.

Markos, I'd come if it was in Europe. Going all that way spending money etc just isn't worth it in my opinion.

Shows how far I've moved away from this place mentally. Good thing

well my current travel plan includes a few hours of stay in munich and frankfurt, perhaps we can arrange short polymeets at the airports. it's always better to fly drunk anyway

It's a big southwest hub. pity is that i don't know if southwest flies to newark, NYC, boston or any big international cities.

Y'all should charter a flight to the US, gather in Paris or somesuch, and fly together.
