Yeah, because the way our prision system is set up, we really give a **** about 'morally uplifting' them!

It's their so Christians have a spiritual outlet while in prison. Ie, it makes them happy!

      Gibsie...hush!

Imran - actually, yes. In this circumstance, it really is. Truly, amazingly stupid. I can't even believe I'm still in this thread, which I shall remedy....starting now.

It's still ridiculous that ancient superstitions are catered to.

What's next? If a group of them claim to be spiritually deprived cos they don't have a tennis court, should we build that too? If we don't, isn't that snubbing the cult of tennis playing islamics, in preference for their more prayer-centric cousins? And why stop there? I'm sure you could find at least a few prisoners who feel spirtually deflated by not having a whorehouse on the prison grounds. Let's add one! And a shopping mall, and a....

Where do I sign up, man...this is a great gig!
Last time I checked, tennis courts and shopping malls cost additional money. Building new toilets in a particular direction doesn't.

Right, because Christians don't committ crimes. Muslims and possibly other heathen do, but not Christians.

In Cali's twisted mind, they probably don't.

Ken Lay never went to Church for example.

I see...so if we can arrange it to be free, then we should cater to their every whim.

If we can get some government grants (same thing as free money) then we should cater to the tennis playing muslim crowd too.

                    And hire the hookers.

                    And....

This is the greatest thread of all time. It's like watching Springer, but in slow motion......I....can't....make.....myself....leave .....

                          Government grants are free money?

Well why do we have to stop at free?

I mean, these people's SPIRITUAL WELL BEING is at stake here?!

So what if we have to spend a little coin.

I mean, if it will make their stay more comfortable and "improve morale" we should jump all over it, right?

You guys are just heartless bastards, that's all.
