Dude, Roloson is a ****ing maniac. The Wings missed a half dozen golden opportunities. Roloson sucks. He was lucky last night. Half the time when the action gets thick he falls on his ass before a shot even comes in.Originally posted by notyoueither

Roloson is not a top-tier goalie, obviously. He makes mistakes, often significant ones.
But he's pretty good. And in this playoffs, with this mix-and-match bag of goalies, he's looking quite nice at the moment.
Plus, he's a classy guy, so if he's getting a few lucky bounces, then it's just karma...

If both survived Anaheim could not play San Jose in round 2 so that would be a potential round 3 meeting. Calgary could potentially meet pretty much anyone (except Detroit) in round 2. If Detroit and Dallas both lose it sets up a round 2 clash with Edmonton for instance. If only one of Detroit and Dallas wins, that winner would get Edmonton or Colorado while Calgary would face the San Jose/nashvile victor . If both detroit and Dallas win, Calgary gets Dallas.
That clear? good.

Ya Roloson so far has been "good enough"-- He has not yet provided the stellar error-free goaltending that can take a team deep deep into the playoffs but he has varied from looking amazing much of the time to a few very awkward looking mistakes. he does have the potential.Originally posted by cinch

Compared though to many teams, he IS looking pretty good.
Tampa, Carolina for instance would love to have him.
Speaking of goalies, will it be gerber in net again for Carolina or will they give the rookie a real shot.
