And I have more authority to speak on illegal immigration than all of you since my father was technically illegal after his student visa expired and the green card was 'in the mail'. He did get his green card shortly afterwards and became a citizen and makes far more than Sloww or Kaak .

Wait, I thought breaking our country's immigration laws was you know, a criminal act...
It isn't. It's a civil penalty. That's the whole point of the House bill. They want to make it a crime instead of a simple civil violation.
