My advice for relationships is simple:

7) I mean it.
8) If she makes you feel bad about yourself then she doesn't actually love you. Dump her.
9) If she seriously annoys you (by being stupid, by having weird hangups etc) then you should just dump her now. It will only get worse. You don't want to take a murder charge for some skirt.

I don't drink, so it's hard for me to go to places to "pick up" girls. I don't like clubbing, parties, etc.


Don't get me wrong, I can be social, I just choose not to be because I find it lame, all that small talk, and attempts to be funny/popular/cool and whatever else there is.

It's kind of self-defeating, since a placid person is someone who generally is not 'out there' searching for anyone.

Don't go to bars on the prowl. It might work for some people, personally, I find them lame and depressing... and no sort of place to look for a relationship.

Do get out and do the stuff you enjoy doing. What would you do if you wanted to make new friends with similar interests?... A bit of social sport, volunteer conservation work, art classes, whatever. If you are getting out and meeting people you like, the rest should fall into place, and if it doesn't, you'll still end up with new friends and new experiences.

Don't go looking for a new girlfriend. Just look for opportunities to meet new people. I know Singapore has some community art projects - you might find that interesting. Go out and learn lion dancing, dragon-boat racing... or find out how they make those crazy lion heads - anything that interests you.

Then, you won't be sitting around feeling like crap. You will have a chance to enjoy your newfound freedom, and, when you do hook up with someone new, you'll come across as confident and self-sufficient, with a few new friends to boot.

Sorry to hear this Snoopy.. but look on the bright side..

This wasn't meant to be. Consider the possibility of this relationship lasting for say.. a year or two more.. maybe get into even more serious stage. And it could never really work out with her head being messed up. You see what I mean? You got out now. It could have been A LOT WORSE.

You're free again, even though kind of trapped. But that trapped thing is only temporary. When you get the chance, revise your plans. You might not have any now, but as soon as possible, go to the war room and start planning. It will be a success, I'm sure.
