What sick bastard would deny a blind man a lap dance.

I loved that line. I had it in my signiture line for a while. I think it was Vance Degenneres who used that when describing Tampa's 6 foot rule at strip clubs.

But if there were no pencils no one would misspell words!

I like Eddie Izzard's line on that.

so it's the dodgy heart or something and not the gun

people have been killing each other long before there were guns

Of course they have, Japher. Guns simply increase the lethality of humans.

guns just allow people who are not as strong to kill others. Or perhaps those who are not as courageous.

Why should the big strong couragous people have all the fun?

guns make everyone equal. And that's a good thing.

If not, women would have to go back to killing their husbands the old way. With poison.

and enough with this threadjack. I apoligize. We were supposed to be talking about Jon Stewart.

Yes, but it wasn't until modern wars began that casualties came more from injuries inflicted on the battlefield than diseases caught off the battlefield. Guns are really good at killing people.

Wait. I don't want to be having some political debate about gun control in a Jon Stewart thread. What's going on?

                                does it?
I think that's pretty clear. Just as other advanced weapons have made people more lethal. Is the 82nd Airborne not more lethal than a Roman legion?
