I expect Belarus is best served by being left alone. Death penalties for protesters, if that is true, certainly sounds grim, but Western intervention is likely to make things worse, rather than better for the people of that country.
For a start, if all the meddling NGO's buggered off some of the harsh 'security measures' would probably be relaxed.
Interestingly, Interfax reports that Milinkevich's (the opposition guy's) two sons have gone missing. They were supposedly en route to a protest site, but their cars there are parked and empty. Apparently detained by the security forces.

That country is a total joke. Give half back to Poland and toss the other half to Russia. The Poles could then give the Germans back their land.
Give us it whole . And we have no German land. Seriously, it belonged to Germany for some time, part of it was inhabited by a German majority, but calling it "German land" does not sound good. Like I wouldn't call western Byelorus of western Ukraine or eastern Lithuania or whatever Polish land, even if it belonged to Poland for a couple of centuries and some of it became majorly Polish. But back to topic: Poland supports independance of Byelorus. We really do and care, while Europeans f.e. think that it makes no sense to broadcast to Byelorus in Byelorussian, if majority speaks Russian. Today polish parliamentarist Jagiello was taken by KGB, tomorrow he's on trial for that he spoke with some people in Polish in a restaurant.

It's posted on the BHHRG (British Helsinki Human Rights Group) website, but I think the original comes from the WSWS (World Socialist Website).
That article is so bollocks I would have to devote at least an hour to set their facts straight. An hour I don't have right now.

If the NGO did that, it is likely that the demonstrators would disappear
There has probably been less change in Belarus than in any of the countries of the Former Soviet Union- the people are poor and repressed and likely to stay so as long as Lukoshenko is still in power
