  • snitching for money?

I was overhearing a conversation at work about a former employee that is currently brewing meth. now i could run to crimestoppers and turn him in but i dont have his address. i could figure it out though pretty easily.

anyway, the sole reason for doing this is a reward, monetary. is that morally reprehensible though? should i do it because its the right thing to do?

well theres a second part, always a second part. hes the son of the family that owns the company i work for. im afraid of retaliation for getting him busted because at least one family member knows about it.

Do they actually give out rewards for that kind of information then? Or will you first find out if you would get a reward and then only tell if you do?

But I don't think it's even remotely morally reprehensible. If the guy didn't want to get caught, he shouldn't have done something illegal (and told people about it). **** him... Of course, it would be nice if you actually cared and did it because it's the right thing to do.

no no, theres a legit reward for info leading the arrest of anyone in the manufacture, distro, and sale of meth here. its in the 4 digit range.

And getting the reward would clearly rule out an anonymous tip then. Could he find out who tipped them off?

Well, at least you've got a couple of months wage out of the reward then?

... The other option is blackmail.

Give me his name and address. I'll turn him in.

Then give me your paypal address and I'll split it with ya.

Meth, you say? Rat his ass out, for the sake of everyone else around.

But only if you're positive he's doing it...

If you saw the amount of ****-ups that c.meth produces, you'd have no hesitation in reporting the guy.

Actually once you turn him in the family won't dare lay a finger on you, unless of course they are the other kind of "family". Badda-boom badda-bing. If they're the other kind of family then we won't be hearing from you again. Nice knowing you.
